The blue transmitter you see on pipes in every refinery, chemical plant and power station
Walk into any old plant and half the pressure transmitters are still 3051s from the 90s – they just keep working. New ones have the same coplanar design but better electronics, HART or Foundation Fieldbus, and local display. Instrument guys like them because the wiring is the same as the old ones, the calibration procedure hasn’t changed, and spare parts are everywhere. It measures pressure, level, flow – whatever you need.
| Types | Gage, absolute, differential, level |
| Ranges | From inches water to 10,000 psi |

Q: Do you still make the 3051?
A: Yes – new units ship every day from Chanhassen.
Q: Can I replace my old 1151?
